Working In Partnership

The Mountains and the People is a true partnership project, bringing together those with an interest in conservation from across Scotland and beyond under a common goal to empower individuals and communities to preserve our fragile mountain habitats.  Every partner brings a valued contribution to the project, whether that be experience, resources or funding, allowing the project to achieve it’s full potential.

Outdoor Access Trust for Scotland

The project is led by the Outdoor Access Trust for Scotland, an innovative environmental charity working to promote sustainable public access.

We work to develop and implement an access management strategy that integrates the needs of land managers, access users and local communities, whilst conserving and protecting the natural heritage throughout Scotland.
