Vehicle: The post holder will be required to us their own car for business use with mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile

YES? Then our exciting maternity cover opportunity to join The Mountains and The People project as Activity Project Officer may be perfect for you.
The Mountains and The People is a unique partnership project which will engage the people of Scotland and beyond in the conservation of our country’s two national parks. The project is led by Cairngorms Outdoor Access Trust (COAT) supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and in partnership with Scotland’s two National Park Authorities, Cairngorms and Loch Lomond & the Trossachs, Forestry Commission Scotland and Scottish Natural Heritage.
Building upon the great work delivered by the existing Activity Project officer this maternity cover opportunity is a key post in The Mountains & The People project, and will assist the Activity Programme Manager in ensuring delivery of the project Activity Plan. The role will have a strong focus on the development and delivery of the Volunteering and Education aspects of the project as well as supporting the delivery of Training, Interpretation and Promotional outcomes and outputs.
We seek to appoint a passionate advocate of the benefits of people’s engagement with the countries National Parks, an experienced and motivated project officer confident in the development, management and direct delivery of activities with members of the public, educational establishments and businesses.
This position will be based in Balloch but required to work throughout Loch Lomond & Trossachs area as well as overnight visits to the Cairngorms. Own transport is essential.
