09 Nov Goretex Footwear Competition

The Mountains and The People have 8 pairs of boots and shoes up for grabs. The boots have been donated by W.L. Gore & Associates – better known to many of us as the makers of Gore-Tex®. The collection of boots was originally used during a pop-up experience event at Westfield Shopping Centre in April, where shoppers could “battle the elements” in a stunning 5D simulation, whilst kitted out in the latest Gore technologies. In keeping with the company’s rigorous approach to sustainability, the boots were given to The Mountains and The People, to ensure they have long and useful lives in the great outdoors.

We have 8 pairs of shoes in total and we only have the sizes as specified in the photo. In order to win a pair of shoes, tell us in less than 150 words where your shoes will take you and what adventures you might go on. In order to enter you must have volunteered with us on a conservation task or be involved with our Adopt a Path scheme.  Email us your entries to volunteering@themountainsandthepeople.org.uk and make sure to include what shoe / boot and what size you would like. Entries should be received by Friday 1^st December and winners will be announced the following week.
