Next Step Volunteer led walks

April 29 @ 10:30 am - 2:00 pm

The Three Bridges, Callander.  10.30am – 2.00pm

Stirling and Falkirk District Ramblers is a very friendly group who offer a huge range of varied walks.   We extend a very warm welcome to new walkers to join us for a lovely short walk starting in Callander.

We will walk to Bocastle, up onto the Trossachs Trail and then  across the road to Invertrossachs, past the caravan park to Coilhallan and back to Callander.  There should be good views of Ben Ledi and Callander Crags and good wildlife watching opportunities.

The terrain along the Trossachs Trail is undulating and there is a bit of a climb in Coilhallan Wood but nothing too strenuous (200 ft maximum). It’s a very straightforward walk on good paths all the way.

The walk will leave at 10:30 from North Ancaster Square car park.   (Please note if you plan to park  there is a charge.)  The walk is approx. 4.5 miles but we will stop en route so make sure to bring some refreshments.

Please bring waterproof clothing and sensible footwear.  We very much look forward to having you with us and please don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions.

Distance: Approx 4.5 miles
