July 27 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Drymen Paths and Lanes Circuit
Helensburgh & West Dunbartonshire Ramblers extend a very warm welcome to new walkers who might like to join them for a gentle led walk along paths and lanes around the village of Drymen.
The walk will start at 10:00 in Drymen village car park on Stirling Road and will last about 2½ hours. The car park is situated about 200m east of the village green.
We will follow quiet scenic lanes and country paths offering views to Loch Lomond and will pass the ruin of Buchanan Castle. Although there are a few gradual ascents, they will be taken at a gentle pace. Bring a snack and drink for a rest in a scenic location beside a burn. The paths can be muddy, so boots are needed and waterproofs and warm clothing are recommended.
Please call us if you have any questions or simply arrive by 10:00 in Stirling Road car park, Drymen on Thursday, 27 July. We look forward to meeting you.
Distance: Approx. 5 miles
