February 21 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
We will be working with the local FCS Ranger on the red trail which goes around Loch Morlich at Glenmore Forest Park near Aviemore. The day will run from 10am-4pm. We will be doing some drainage and re-surfacing work on the trail to help keep water off the path. There will be some manual handling involved to wheelbarrow materials along the path.
You will need to bring appropriate clothing including waterproofs and sturdy toe protecting footwear. You will also need plenty of layers, hat etc, suitable for winter weather.
You will also need lunch, snacks and a drink. We have a supply of work gloves for volunteers and steel toe capped wellington boots which volunteers can borrow. Toilet facilities are available at Glenmore Visitor Centre which is relatively close by.
The meeting place is the Glenmore Visitor Centre at 10am. Transport is available from Aviemore and Grantown on Spey.
